Directions to our offices in High Street, Cushendall
Cushendall is 18 miles north east of Ballymena and 15
miles south of Ballycastle. Situated close to the A2 "coast
road", we are easily accessible from all directions, yet far
enough to be unique.
From Belfast to Cushendall, the most suitable route is
usually M2 north, A26 to Ballymena, M2 bypass around Ballymena,
A43 out of Ballymena heading north east, branch onto the B14
after Cargan.
Please note: these directions are different to the
directions to Watertop Open Farm - our most popular venue.
If you require more detail: Once on the M2 motorway
going North from Belfast make sure that you get off on
the correct exit. The A26 crosses the M2 at the junction after
the Antrim Area Hospital.
Turn Right for Ballymena on the A26.
Bypass Ballymena on a short part of the M2.
Turn off the bypass, following the Cushendall signs
heading for the A43, turning right at both roundabouts in the
outskirts of Ballymena.
This takes you onto the A43 - Cushendall Road. Pass
through Martinstown and Cargan to the high level section of
the road after Cargan and a branch left onto the B14, from
here, it is 5 miles into Cushendall.
Distance: 49 miles or about 1 hour from the start
of the M2 in Belfast. |

To Ardclinis on High Street, Cushendall
If you are arriving from Ballymena - as above, when you
reach Cushendall, turn left onto the A2 at the Spar shop and
cross the bridge, look for the cross-roads (near the Curfew
Tower).
Ardclinis is 30 metres up High Street, the
steep hill from the cross-roads.
You may prefer not to park on the hill, there is a public
car park close by the bridge.
Alternatively, if you are approaching Cushendall
from the North or South on the A2, look for the village centre
cross-roads near the old Curfew Tower, then as above.
