Summer Camps

About our summer camps and day activities for summer visitors.

We have arranged a great programme of Monday - Friday activities which includes daytime supervision, local transport and the Thursday night camp (if you wish).

Non residential summer camps, based at Watertop Open Farm, near to Ballycastle, Co. Antrim.

The adventure programme starts each morning at 10 and finishes at 5pm. Finish on Friday at 2pm.

These are adventure holidays designed and professionally programmed for 8 - 14 year olds. No special skills or experience required.

Bring plenty of energy and the intention to have a good time!

An action packed and fun filled programme:

MONDAY * Arrival and introductions, safety brief and fire precautions, settle in, Short walk (to see the area), Ice breakers, Ropes course, Orienteering, Abseiling.

TUESDAY * Pony trekking, Archery, Raft building, Rock climbing.
*
WEDNESDAY * Canadian canoeing, Snake hunting ???, Navigation training, Prepare for tomorrow evening's show.
*
THURSDAY * Camp preparation, Afternoon Expedition, Set up camp, Explore, Music / Drama evening, A night under canvas.
*
FRIDAY * Pack up the camp, Mini Olympics, departure 2pm.


What to wear: Old clothes, old trainers, warm jacket, hat and gloves.

Pack the shades and suncream!

What to bring: Packed lunch, drink and a set of spare clothes!

As we're sure you will agree, the cost of our summer camp holidays, £130 per person, for five days of activities, represents great value for money.

The cost includes activities, tuition, all specialised equipment, local transport, camp fees and food for overnight camp.
