Venues
New venues are presented regularly. The time taken to
thoroughly research a location, gain the required permission,
ensure the outdoor environment is being cared for and assess
risk for the proposed activities will usually mean a lead in
of over three months.
Events can be prepared and delivered on existing sites in
four to six weeks, given availability.

Watertop Open Farm, near Ballycastle.
Many of our team and management courses
are based at Watertop Open Farm, between
Cushendall and Ballycastle on the A2. It's 6
miles from Ballycastle, which is 25 miles
from Ballymena. Directions are provided.
Watertop is a working farm as well as a
visitor attraction in its own right.
Beside the Carey River, Watertop gives
access to countryside rich in natural assets.
Within 200 metres we have free car
parking, meeting rooms and refreshments, an
archery range, ropes course, river and two
ponds, gorge and abseiling / climbing crag,
orienteering course, sheltered places for
team games, access to Carnamore mountain and
Ballypatrick Forest and, or course, toilets
and showers.
The location provides a perfect setting
for relaxation, reflection and, of course,
adventures.
Our one day 'Watertop' programme is
very popular.
Activities can include abseiling,
archery, ropes course, orienteering, team
games, bridge building, climbing, canoeing.
Facilities include easy access from the
A2, free parking, toilets and showers, tea
room and covered archery.
Additional meeting rooms, presentation
and lecture facilities can be booked.
All activities and facilities are
within 200 metres. The price varies with the
size of group. Each group size has a minimum
number of people and a cost associated.
Provided you agree to minimum numbers, we
will charge based on this amount + a small
additional cost per person.
25% deposit is requested to secure your
booking.
VAT is inclusive - nothing more to pay.
We do have high standards and you are
right to expect high standards.
We do need several weeks notice to
arrange courses, so do give us plenty of
notice. |

Loughallen Education Centre
Situated on the shores of Lough Allen in
the picturesque village of Drumshanbo, The
Lough Allen Education Centre makes the ideal
venue for group activities such as corporate
team building, fishing competitions and
outdoor pursuits (water and land based).
This purpose built site can cater for
groups of 6 to 48 on a B&B, Half Board or
Full Board basis and equipment for all
outdoor activities is available for hire.
The centre is also in close proximity
to the newly refurbished Ramada Hotel where
use of its Fitness Suite, Indoor Swimming
Pool and Sauna can be negotiated. As
Drumshanbo is positioned in the very heart of
County Leitrim it is ideal for access to the
county's many visitor attractions and those
of the bordering counties of Cavan,
Fermanagh, Langford, Roscommon and Sligo. |
